Abstract

In many developing countries around the world, there is a strong focus on reform across various sectors to improve human resources and foster national growth year by year. Enhancing one's abilities and skills is prioritized to motivate the country towards sustainable development. As an Education Officer and Researcher, I invite you to join us in a dissertation titled "Effectiveness of the Higher Secondary Examination 2017-2018," which aims to improve the quality of education and enhance students' abilities during exams. More specifically, this study seeks to eliminate corruption during exams.

The Ministry of Education has been implementing this reform program since 2014, continuing through to the beginning of 2018, with a focus on maintaining and advancing it for the future. The primary objectives of this study are:

  1. To explore the mechanisms that make high school diploma exams more effective and efficient.

  2. To identify the challenges and irregularities that arise during high school diploma examinations.

To achieve quality and efficiency through this reform, the Higher Secondary Examination requires a comprehensive and in-depth study of the implications and challenges faced by relevant stakeholders. This includes collaboration, monitoring, and evaluation by partners, as well as harmonizing the supporting arguments and measures that will ensure the exam achieves its intended goals.
