Cambodian Journal of Educational and Social Sciences (CJESS)

The Cambodian Journal of Educational and Social Sciences (CJESS) was officially launched on the 08th of March by a group of emerging Cambodian scholars and was available online a month later, in early April 2024. CJESS is a double-blind and peer-reviewed journal and describes itself as a vibrant platform for collecting and exchanging academic research pertinent to the fields of educational and social sciences, both domestically and internationally. The invitation to engage in the analysis and debate of various themes inherent in education and social sciences, including educational policy frameworks, socio-cultural flux, community developmental paradigms, and human behavioral studies, is extended to academicians, investigatory bodies, and applied practitioners. Knowledge sharing and intellectual interchange are the two main goals of this journal. CJESS primarily targets policymakers, educational institutions, and related stakeholders by providing a range of perspectival interpretations about the complex issues and possibilities found within educational and social frameworks. The journal is also dedicated to promoting initiatives aimed at improving socioeconomic circumstances and sustainable development, therefore broadening its impact outside the Cambodian setting.

The mission and vision of CJESS are as follows:

To provide a dynamic platform for collecting, exchanging, and advancing knowledge in educational and social sciences through rigorous research, quality publication, fostering intellectual dialogue, and supporting evidence-based policymaking and sustainable development initiatives.

2. Vision

To be a leading academic and scientific journal, nationally and internationally accredited and recognized, that drives innovation and transformative change in educational and social sciences, contributing to sustainable development and societal progress in Cambodia and beyond.
